 All parents will inform us of any allergies on their Childs detail form when registering
with the Nursery.

In the event of an allergic reaction the following procedures will take place depending on
the severity of the reaction.
 The parent will be phoned immediately.
 Medication previously signed for will be administered.
 The environment will be adapted accordingly.
 In severe cases the emergency services will be phoned.

 No food types containing nuts can be consumed within the setting.

Behaviour Policy

We believe children flourish best in an ordered environment, in which everyone knows what
is expected of them, and children are free to develop their play and learning without fear of
being hurt by anyone else.

Rules and behaviour within the Nursery will be discussed and agreed between both adults
and children.

All staff in the Nursery will ensure that rules are applied consistently.

All staff in the Nursery will praise good behaviour such as friendliness, sharing etc.
