At Felicity's Fledglings we operate a strict collection policy for all of our children to ensure
               their safety.
If someone called to collect a child from the Nursery, and the practitioners were unaware of
this arrangement in no circumstances would the child be allowed to leave the setting before
we had spoken with the parents or guardians.
There is a collection book located at the main desk in each Nursery, parents must sign this if
anyone different is collecting the child. They are asked to write the name of the person
collecting, their car registration (if applicable), date and signature. We also use a
password system which the parent or guardian will provide.
On arrival once, the password has been given and confirmed, a senior member of staff will
check the car registration before allowing the child to go. The person collecting must sign
the collection book to say they have collected
               the child.

               Uncollected Children Policy and Procedure
The Nursery encourages parents & carer's to inform us if they are going to be late collecting
their child. We do understand that occasionally the person picking up a child can be a little
late due to unforeseen circumstances, therefore we will allow a little time before we put
               emergency measures into operation.
If we have not been informed of a late pick up and a child is still on the premises 20 minutes
after they were due to be collected we will first try to contact the parent/carer and if
this fails, we will try to contact any other emergency contact.
If all attempts to contact a known person of the child has failed and the child is still present
45 minutes after the normal collection time we will ensure that the manager or most senior
member of staff keeps the child safe within the setting. If we have no contact by the end of
