Mobile Phone & Camera Policy
This policy had been adopted to ensure that nobody is taking photos or recordings of our
children while in the care of our nursery.
Staff
Before staff enter either of the Nursery buildings all mobile devices and cameras are to be
switched off and placed in the office in a designated box with a sign in and out
sheet. Should staff need to be contacted throughout the day due to personal issues they will
be allowed access to the landline at all times. Any member of staff found to be having their
mobile or camera on them during the working day will receive instant dismissal action.
Nursery mobile phone
There will be a nursery mobile phone in the 3-4's Unit which a senior member of staff will
have access to, this is to be used for outings and contact to and from the baby unit. No
recordings or photos will be taken on this device.
Parents & carer's
We request that all parents and carers are not to access their mobile/camera while in the
Nursery due to the safeguarding and protection of children in our care.
Visitors
Strictly no use of mobile phones or cameras within the Nursery.
