Outings Policy
Felicity's Fledglings organize outings on a regular basis these include the local environment,
summer trips and are connected to our curriculum planning.

Important points to remember:
 Staff ratios of one adult to two children must be followed at all times to ensure the
safety and needs of the child and if there are insufficient staff the outing will be
cancelled.
 Venue will be visited by the manager before children visit to ensure the suitability.
 First aid kit is to be taken on outings at all times.
 Nursery Mobile is to be taken with full charge and sufficient credit.
 Register of children is to be carried at all times – this must also include the Childs
contact numbers. Register to be taken frequently whilst on outing.
 In the event of anything unforeseen the Nursery Manager must be
contacted immediately.
 A risk assessment is to be carried out for each outing.
